Love My Dress, Lucy Davenport Photography, Harriet Wilde

If the shoe fits….Harriet Wilde shoe and accessories collection.

Towards the end of last year I had the pleasure of working with Ruth Shaw, the British shoe designer who founded her brand, Harriet Wilde in 2008. Having seen huge success with the wedding shoe world, Harriet Wilde now has an accessories range to match! The following images are from the look book which I photographed for the launch of the collection. Be prepared for lots of pretty…and some wedding hair inspiration too thanks to Patrick Ludde!

Zita Elze, a real flower wedding dress and Brides The Show.

This post has the wow factor! Drum roll please…for a real flower wedding dress! Back in October I visited Brides The Show in London. I really can’t recommend visiting this show enough. Hosted by Brides magazine, it really is an industry leading show. There is a fabulous array of suppliers, inspiring talks, DIY workshops and the catwalk show is always a work of art. The highly sought after florist, Zita Elze provided a show stopping display, which did in fact bag her the Editor’s Gold Award.

Roadkill Couture, a taxidermy inspired wedding shoot

Roadkill Couture is a project that I have dreamed of shooting for a long time! Its marmite, so grab a cup of tea and stay with me… The end of a year always brings equal measures of reflection and excitement for me. I love to look back at all of the amazing weddings and shoots I’ve been a part of, as well as set new goals for the following year. I feel it’s important to set goals (I never do resolutions!) but to set goals allows you to aim high and aspire to a challenge.
