Have you considered a winter wedding? Last Christmas I photographed the beautiful winter themed wedding of Charlotte and Ben.
With all of the incredible details that Charlotte created, this wedding has been very popular with publications. It’s now one year on since the wedding but I can’t resist sharing it with you!
Initially the wedding was featured on Rock My Wedding blog.
Wedding magazine then asked to feature it online.
Finally, with a wonderful end to the year, Wedding Venues and Services magazine have published it in their Jan/Feb/March issue!Below I’ve shared some more images from the day. Charlotte’s bridesmaids wore dresses from House of Fraser.
Gorgeous winter flowers from Lili Floral Art using white roses and succulents. The button holes and bouquet had a rustic twine wrapped at the stems.
Charlotte and Ben held their reception in a marquee at her parents house. There was a fabulous field opposite which we used for the bridal couple shots.
Favours for the men as some homemade sloe gin – perfect for a winter wedding!
Charlotte worked with award winning Warwickshire Wedding Planner on the day to help bring all of her hard work together. Are you having a home wedding? Have you considered having a wedding planner to guide you through your wedding journey or an ‘on the day’ planner?
The marquee from Fews marquees looked stunning – a real winter wonderland with soft hues, pale pinks, and hints of gold glitter.
The wedding cake table was a real work of art thanks to Charlottes mum who worked tirelessly to make the wedding cakes.
A feature was made of the cake table in the centre of the marquee rather than against the side. From the ceiling of the marquee suspended were gold branches above the wedding cake. What a wonderful centre detail, I’ve never seen anything like it!
Charlotte and Ben chose to have a black star cloth lining for the dance floor area of the marquee to create the transition for the evening do.
