When the moodboard for Sirens Song landed in my inbox I stopped in my tracks. Coco & Kat had stepped into my brain! To ardenive you some background as to who they are, earlier last year I photographed a beautiful wedding with Katrina Otter Weddings, she is such an incredible wedding planner, my goodness you’re in safe hands! Kat has now officially jointed forces with Emma from Coco Wedding Venues (be sure to check out her site if you’re venue hunting, it’s an invaluable tool). Together they are Coco & Kat and the master minds behind Sirens Song!
This colourful balloon wedding at Aynhoe Park was as colourful and contagious as the gorgeous couple getting married. For Jenny and Dave, their wedding was a celebration. What better venue to host a big party than Aynhoe Park? The colourful balloons were brought to life in the Orangery. It was the perfect backdrop to show off the punchy colour choices in all their glory.
Rebecca asked me to photograph her branding shoot for the launch of Rebecca K Events. It was such a treat for me to walk into a shoot knowing absolutely nothing and seeing all of the amazing details that Rebecca had sourced. A luxurious aesthetic with soft pink hues and stunning tulle dresses (we all love tulle, right?!) It really was so inspiring!
Anna and Jamie are a young, super fun and outgoing couple and boy did their glamping wedding reflect this! Set in a secluded area of rural Northumberland, they hosted a luxurious marquee wedding with guests glamping on site!
Primrose Hill Farm oozes opportunity and it was the perfect backdrop for a four seasons shoot. I always feel theres a lot of pressure on couples to create a theme for their wedding day – whats your colour scheme is on the tip of everyones tongues. A seasonal direction creates a wonderful opportunity in my eyes. In a world where everything is available most of the year round, the four seasons would actually do you a favour. Using seasonal flowers and food is key to ensure that you’re not only avoiding spending unnecessary money where it wasn’t needed (by trying to get out of season flowers at a premium price!) but it would enable your suppliers to select the best quality for you as they will have the luxury of availability on their side.
It’s always so inspiring to shoot at new venues, and Newington House was no exception! This beautiful 17th Century stately home was the setting for Georgie & Bens beautiful wedding last year. The wow factor starts at the gates!
This shoot was inspired by glitter – I wanted to mix an editorial look with a wearable wedding look and created varying levels of impact! Why not glam up your day look to party the night away?
This Autumn wedding took place at Gate Street Barn in Surrey. Sam and Simon chose to really run with the autumnal theme and it was stunning. Sam’s sister, Sophie just so happens to be the super talented florist behind The Bloomery in Twickenham and pulled out all of the stops.
Sophie & Chris hosted their English Country garden wedding at Sophie’s parents home in Putney, London. It really was the perfect setting for them. Now living in Portland in the US it was hugely evident how important family is to them and it was fantastic to see 2 families join and traditions merge to create a truly personal day.
Light Catcher – Delicate Darkness were the outcome of two shoots on one day. With an amazing team consisting of stylist, Lucy Loves Bridal armed with multiple dresses from The Mews Bridal, Notting Hill plus dream duo Louise Seymour (MUA) and Jo Irving (Lovehair) we channeled our vision to create two contrasting looks.
