How does hanging hops and suspended Edison bulb lighting sound to you? This wedding really is a feast for the eyes so enjoy! Having photographed Thomas’ sisters wedding back in 2015 I was so excited to hear from Tom & Sophie. For me this is always the biggest compliment I can have – returning families! Sophie & Thomas chose to host their wedding at Sophie’s parents home. The perfect Shropshire wedding was due! Marquee weddings are always personal favourites of mine. They are a blank canvas and allow the couple to put their personal stamp on the day. Sophie and Toms was no exception.
The Larmer Tree is situated on the Rushmore Estate on the Dorset/Wiltshire border. Home to free roaming peacocks it really is a magic setting for your wedding day. I photographed a wedding there back in 2012 and felt it was time to return! It is still as beautiful and I wanted to share it with you in todays blog post.
A swoon-worthy Suzanne Neville ‘Belle’ dress was the one for Tara. The fishtail cut was just sensational and with the button detail all the way down the back to the top of her thighs and a high neck it really was beautiful.

This colourful balloon wedding at Aynhoe Park was as colourful and contagious as the gorgeous couple getting married. For Jenny and Dave, their wedding was a celebration. What better venue to host a big party than Aynhoe Park? The colourful balloons were brought to life in the Orangery. It was the perfect backdrop to show off the punchy colour choices in all their glory.
Anna and Jamie are a young, super fun and outgoing couple and boy did their glamping wedding reflect this! Set in a secluded area of rural Northumberland, they hosted a luxurious marquee wedding with guests glamping on site!
Peonies are loved by all, with the exquisite scent, the gorgeous big ruffles and the various colours, whats not to love? With such a statement flower, it’s possible to have a bouquet with only peonies which is exactly what Lucys choice was for her wedding at Aynhoe Park.
It’s always so inspiring to shoot at new venues, and Newington House was no exception! This beautiful 17th Century stately home was the setting for Georgie & Bens beautiful wedding last year. The wow factor starts at the gates!
Harry and Stefanie chose to host their luxury wedding at home. Using whites and subtle Pantone greens throughout, this stunning setting was the most perfect backdrop for their wedding day. In my opinion, a home wedding is wonderfully personal, and with a home like this, why would you look elsewhere?
