This Modern Revelry deserve a drum roll introduction!
**NEWS FLASH** I got married this summer! There is so much I want to share with you that I learnt along my wedmin journey, let alone write essays about the day itself. However, this post is all about This Modern Revelry.
The gorgeous duo behind This Modern Revelry are Laura and Alan (2017 newly weds too!). I promise you will feel like you’ve known them forever! They are so lovely, warm and will march to the ends of the earth with you on your wedding day.
Taking you back to our pre wedding choices, it wasn’t until much closer to our big day that Ti said to me he would really like a video. He understood how important the wedding photography would be for me, but felt that he would love to have a moving memory of our day. He was so right! I thought to myself how excited and emotional I get when a real bride of mine shares their wedding video with me. I LOVE IT!
The decision process was quite easy for us. Being a private couple we didn’t even announce our engagement on social media (instead choosing to tell people in person, when we saw them!). As a result of this it was very clear that we would want our video to music. We didn’t want our speeches over the top, and we wanted someone who was going to capture the party atmosphere of our Cotswold wedding.
Naturally I turned to a handful of wedding videographers that I loved and respected having worked alongside at other weddings. None of them were available….now I felt like a real bride, fumbling around in the dark (Google!). I stumbled across This Modern Revelry on Instagram and the hunt came to an abrupt stop – we’d found them!
We had an absolute blast with these two, and can’t thank them enough for their hard work and finished products! How lucky am I – I get to work alongside these guys when another industry gem gets married on Saturday!
