The dream photo booth for Instagram lovers on their wedding day!

Social Playground, Instagram printer

Are you looking for the next generation of photo booth? I think I may have just found it for you.
So many couples ask me if I’ve seen anything at a wedding like a photo booth, but different as they’ve seen it so many times.

Drum roll please…

Last week a new company, Social Playground introduced themselves to me and I knew I had to share this find with you!
Instagram is huge – I love it and I’m sure you do too. This summer a handful of my couples set up their own wedding hashtag so that the wedding guests who had Instagram could tag their wedding. Lots of images in one place to peruse after the wedding.

Social Playground takes it to the next level though.

Social Playground, Instagram Printer, Photo Booth Q1. What is Social Playground?
Social Playground are a digital entertainment agency with products such as the Live Instagram Printer. This prints out pictures which have been uploaded to Instagram using your wedding hashtag. They also offer a Live feed, which can display all of the hash tagged images in real time onto a TV or projector.

If your guests have used your wedding hashtag on the run up to the big day, or on their journey, these images will be used too along with any taken on the wedding day.

Q2. What if I my guests don’t have an Instagram account?
Using their own iPad and Instagram account, Social Playground can take shots. (Genius). It is worth mentioning the hashtag on your invitations too so that your guests are aware of it and those that don’t have Instagram can download it before the wedding. Remember that your profile must be set to public, not private.

Q3. What is involved on the day?
Social Playground will set up for the reception time and print all those images already taken. These will all be printed twice, one for the wall and one for the guest to collect.
During the hire time, images will be printed out 3 times then, so the 3rd photo can be used to write a note in a guest book.
Someone will be on site in order to run the printer and take photos for those without an Instagram account too, so you don’t have to worry.

Q4. How much space do you need?
All that is required is an internet connection along with a power socket and a 2m x 2m space.

Social Playground is a photo booth alternative and in my opinion just as fun!
